Evidence manifest
Repository audio files are inventoried with SHA-256 hashes, byte sizes, media metadata, and source limitations.
Standard procedure
Raw listening precedes processing and wording prompts. Processing must remain disclosed, conservative, and directly comparable with the source.
Confidence framework
Technical findings and speech interpretations use different criteria. Existing speech conclusions remain provisional until rescored and independently reviewed.
Observation separation
Acoustic observations, free responses, proposed wording, alternatives, model output, and confidence decisions are recorded in separate fields.
Change and review controls
Method or conclusion changes require a recorded reason. Independent review has a defined checklist and remains explicitly incomplete until performed.
Current limits
- The native CXone/MDMR export and its custody records have not been obtained.
- Phase 3 processing-residue playback is implemented and validated in the recorded Edge 151 Windows environment.
- Localized cross-channel delay, correlation, coherence, and energy measurements remain to be implemented.
- Controlled blind-listening data and independent technical review require people other than the initial examiner.

Phase 2
Browser audio-engine validation
35/35 known-answer checks passed
Known test signals check the actual channel routing, filter presets, gain, selection, looping, and WAV-export behavior in the browser. Results are not treated as complete until all tests have been run and the report has been imported.
Open browser audio validation
Completed 2026-08-05 in Chrome 151 on Windows:
35 passed, 0 failed, 0 pending. The test recorded the
48 kHz source media and the browser's separate 8 kHz
waveform-analysis buffer. Live playback routing, gain,
filtering, cancellation, looping, selection arithmetic,
media integrity and WAV encoding all passed.

Phase 3
Processing-residue audit
41/41 known-answer checks passed
The listening interface can now switch between the routed signal before filtering, the processed output, and raw minus processed. This makes the filter's effect directly audible.
Residue is a difference signal, not recovered speech. It includes
attenuation, phase, compressor timing, and other processing changes.

41 passed, 0 failed, 0 pending. Raw, processed, and residue
routing passed; bypass residue approached numerical zero; the
rumble-filter residue emphasized the removed low-frequency
component; and the raw audit path preserved the known multitone.
